Stamp Camp Tonight!

Here are a few projects from tonight's Stamp Camp at my home.  First is using the Labels Collection Framelits Dies ($26.95); perfect for creating dimension!  I also found a way to use up some small scarps of Comfort Cafe Designer Paper.

I love bright, bold colors especially when on a neutral background.  I wanted a quick and easy project (not too many layers), something that could be re-created  quickly.  I used the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder ($7.95) to give it a little something since there are no layers on this card.  Punched circles are accented with 3/16" brads.

I had actually planned these flowers to go on a full size card, but they just weren't quite right.  They fit here on a 3x3" card (called a love note) nicely, leaving a spot for my greeting.  This color combo came from the Color Coach ($2.50).

Detailed and Simple...

Here are some recent projects.  First is a detailed cake on a cake stand made with Stampin' Up! Edgelits

Is it a birthday cake or is it a wedding cake?  I think it could be either!  The background is embossed with Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder ($7.95) and the cake stand is made from pieces cut out using the Adorning Accents Edgelits Die ($9.95)  I also have been anxious to start playing around with the new Apothecary Accents and Bitty Banner Framelits Dies.  I was happy with the results!

Second is a fun and simple card using the Petite Pennants Punch ($16.95)

On a side note, my girls are watching SPROUT and Thomas and Friends just came on.  I can say without conviction that I hate Thomas!  I'd take a whole afternoon of Elmo or Dora in place of this horrible show, and that's saying something!  Where's my remote?!

Confetti

Just a quick post today, here is my take on a card I saw on the Pin.

I emptied out a hole punch, used a strip adhesive and just smooshed the dots down.  I took a glue pen and then placed the extras all around.  Colorful and happy!

This used cardstock colors: Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.  Stamp Set: Fabulous Phrases.  Ink color: Rose Red

New Stampin' Up! Fabric

This is my first post on my first blog, so I have NO idea what I'm doing ;)  This is a card that my friend Jen helped me out with by showing me how to make these cute fabric covered buttons,  I love the new Stampin' Up! fabric, and this is a great way to show it off!  Simple and pretty.

Here are a few other projects using the new fabric:
